How Your Donations Help
Making a Difference, One Donation at a Time
Every contribution you make to Shane Osteosarcoma Fonds brings us one step closer to transforming the lives of children and families affected by osteosarcoma. Your generosity enables us to create meaningful change.
How Funds Are Allocated
We are committed to complete transparency about how your donations are used. Here’s how we allocate the funds:
Medical Research
Funding innovative research projects to advance the understanding and treatment of osteosarcoma. This includes grants to leading medical institutions and researchers working on breakthrough therapies, clinical trials and improving long-term outcomes for patients.
Family Support
Offering emotional support to families navigating life with an osteosarcoma diagnosis, including assistance with travel, lodging and other essential needs. We allocate funds to support families in need and partner with local organizations to ensure timely and tailored support is available.
Awarness Campaigns
Educating the public about osteosarcoma to promote early detection and increase funding for research. Our efforts include creating informational materials, organizing community outreach programs and leveraging digital platforms to amplify awareness in Switzerland but also worldwide.
Our Plan for the Future
Your support is paving the way for the establishment of an official fund under a Swiss umbrella foundation. Once our fundraising target is reached, we will:
- Officially launch the Shane Osteosarcoma Fonds – a dedicated entity under a Swiss umbrella foundation to ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
- Initiate research grants – funding of promising research initiatives that bring hope for better treatments and, one day, a cure.
- Create family support programs – offer comprehensive assistance to families, including counseling, support groups and tailored aid.
- Build lasting awareness – develop educational campaigns and partnerships with schools, hospitals and community organizations to make osteosarcoma a widely understood condition.

Your Impact Matters
With your help, we are not only addressing the immediate needs of affected families but also building a foundation for long-term change. Together, we can create a brighter future for children and families affected by osteosarcoma.
